arab voice – Roma – Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced the quarantine of 14 cities as a whole, as part of measures taken to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus in the country.
Conte said, in a press statement, that the country’s authorities have tightened entry and exit procedures in 14 cities.
He added that the quarantined cities are Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia, Pesaro, Rimini, Alessandria, Asti, Novara, Verbano, Versailles, Padova, Treviso and Venice.
He pointed out that the number of people infected with Coronavirus around the country reached 5, 883, while the number of deaths reached 233 cases.
Conte recommended that everyone who complains of shortness of breath or a temperature increase above 37.5 degrees should stick to his house and not go out for any reason.
It is noteworthy that Italy is the largest European country affected by the virus in terms of the number of deaths and infected people, and the fourth in the world after China, South Korea and Iran.
As of Saturday, the virus has infected more than 100,000 people worldwide in about 100 countries and territories, of whom more than 3,500 have died, most of them in China, South Korea, Iran and Italy, and has led to the suspension of Umrah, flights, and postponement or cancellation of sports, political and economic activities around the world, amid Accelerated efforts to contain the disease.
